The Law of Attraction
Instead of focusing on a health problem you may have and are trying to get rid of, what would happen if you could really feel and get jazzed about creating excitement within yourself about what it would be like to know that you were truly healthy and taking the steps you know would cause you to continue getting healthier every single day?
This concept is not new to the HealthTip of the Week but let's focus on what might happen if you put your energy on having what you do want rather than on what you don't want.
In a recent book by Lynn Grabhorn entitled, Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting, this topic, the Law of Attraction is explained in an easy to understand and easy to implement way. Here are some "WANTS" to focus on until you can go out and get Lynn's book:
1. I want joy to radiate through my heart
2. I want my family to express as much of their inborn potential for life and health as they possibly can
3. I want my health to improve year after year
4. I want to live in a healthier world and am consciously creating it by being as healthy as I can be
Get it? I want you to be healthy. Work with us to attract the health you want.
The Bottom Line
It's OK to have wants. It's far better to have "wants" than to have "don't wants." You have created your life and health up until today, mostly without consciously focusing on creating what you do want but rather by unconsciously focusing on avoiding what you don't want. If you would rather be healthy instead of "just not sick" try focusing on what you would want your health to be like if you could have it any way you wanted it.
